The sole purpose of the temporary prosthetic is to provide an aesthetic and functional rehabilitation. This helps eliminate the problem of waiting for a permanent prosthetic for half a year and overpaying for extra unnecessary procedures and manipulations. Following the installation of implants and the temporary prosthetic, the doctor will make molds and use them to produce a permanent prosthetic on a metal carcass, using the more expensive materials.
